Old work shoes turned into art, (left) covered in bus travel tickets I have made recently and (right) a simple acrylic painted landscape inspired by the Trent washlands.
I was commissioned to produce a sign for a local fishing bait retailer http://www.shilhams.com this was part of the signwriting end product produced in 2016. Acrylic paint on panelling.
Quickly made in the autumn of 2016, mixed media of pencil and watercolour.
A simple pen drawing made in 2011, (perhaps bordering on a doodle) of a cigarette ashtray. Probably made with a fountain pen, certainly these types of pens are excellent for drawing with as well as writing. I like the simplicity of this, it is what it is.
Oil paint on wood panel, produced in (circa) 2000. It’s untitled, but I refer to it humorously as ‘Large nude reaching for an apple’.
